Wardlow fatally shot!
Indianapolis businessman Willie Wardlow, 62, a longtime drag racer and founder of the Black Drag Racers Association, was killed shortly before noon. He was shot twice inside Elite Images Salon, 5452 E. Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, the shop he and his wife opened last summer.

Showers steps aside for the foreseeable future!
 Pro Stock Bike favorite Reggie Showers, the double-amputee who is coming off a career-best season, has announced he will not compete in 2004. The 39-year-old, Philadelphia native cited the lack of necessary funding and the desire to spend more time with his family as the reasons for taking the year off.
